About me.

Hello, I’m Karis — an Integrative Counsellor working with adults.

I provide a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore the issues that matter most to them.

My approach is compassionate and adaptable, drawing from a range of therapeutic models to meet each person’s individual needs.

With over a decade of experience in the charity sector, I have worked in services supporting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, as well as people living with HIV. This experience has deeply informed my practice and shaped my commitment to supporting clients with sensitivity, respect, and an understanding of complex trauma and social justice issues.

Training as a counsellor allowed me to focus on one-to-one work — creating space for people to reflect, heal, and grow. I chose an integrative approach because I believe no single model fits everyone; each person’s story deserves an approach that reflects their unique experience.
